These pictures of dead and wounded enemy soldiers show the outcome of violence in defence of freedom for the South Vietnamese. The South Vietnamese casualties were quite high and 250,000 of them died in defence of the same freedoms you and I take for granted. After we abandoned the South Vietnamese, the North Vietnamese Communists supported by other communist countries invaded the south in violation of the treaties they signed in paris and defeated the South Vietnamese army, Thousands were killed or put in Re-education camps and tens of thousands risked their lives at sea in small boats to escape the communists.
